Can video calls boost Kids' fitness? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT06770660

Summary

This study is testing whether a 10-week exercise program delivered through video calls (telemedicine) can improve heart and lung fitness and insulin sensitivity in Asian children aged 12-17 who have low fitness levels. Researchers will compare the online program to standard activity recommendations, like daily step counting, to see which is more effective. The goal is to make exercise programs more accessible for children who face barriers like travel distance or scheduling conflicts.
