Summary
This study tested whether personalized phone and text coaching could help children with type 1 diabetes who struggle with adjusting their insulin treatment. 106 children and their families received remote support from nurses over 6 months. The goal was to see if this coaching improved blood sugar control and reduced dangerous complications like severe low blood sugar.
