Summary
This study tested whether personalized phone and text message coaching could help children with type 1 diabetes who struggle with adjusting their insulin treatment. Researchers worked with 106 children under 18 years old who had difficulty managing their blood sugar levels. The goal was to see if regular remote support from nurses could improve long-term diabetes control and reduce dangerous blood sugar events.
