New telehealth program aims to help kids with autism achieve healthy weight

Summary
This study is testing a 6-month telehealth program designed to teach parents of children with autism how to help manage their child's weight. It will compare this behavioral program to a general health education course. Researchers will follow 150 families for 18 months to see which approach is more effective for improving children's body mass index (BMI) and related health behaviors.
