Video calls tested as new way to check on knee surgery patients
NCT ID NCT07058623
Summary
This study is testing whether follow-up care via video calls with a nurse is as good as traditional in-person visits for people recovering from knee replacement surgery. It will enroll 98 adults who have just had their first knee replacement. The main goal is to see if video calls can spot complications just as well and help patients recover just as effectively, while saving them travel time and cost.
