Virtual therapy breakthrough: two online programs tested to ease chronic pain for thousands
NCT ID NCT04523714
Summary
This study tested two different online therapy programs designed to help people manage chronic pain. Over 2,300 adults with persistent pain tried either a self-guided online program or live virtual sessions with a health coach, comparing both to standard care. Researchers wanted to see which approach worked better at reducing pain severity and improving daily life over 3 to 12 months.
