Virtual therapy trial aims to ease the heavy burden of advanced cancer
NCT ID NCT06555588
Summary
This study is testing a new telehealth counseling program called ENGAGE, designed to help people with advanced cancer better manage their symptoms. It will compare ENGAGE to standard supportive care in 190 patients with Stage IV breast, prostate, lung, or colorectal cancer. The main goal is to see if the program can reduce how much symptoms like pain, fatigue, and distress interfere with daily life over 4 months.
