Veterans test new video therapies to ease chronic pain from home

Summary

This study is testing which of three different group talk therapies works best to reduce chronic pain for older veterans when delivered by video call from home. Researchers are comparing standard Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with newer approaches: Mindfulness Meditation and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy. The goal is to find safer, more accessible ways to help veterans manage long-term pain without relying heavily on medications.
