Summary

This study tests a virtual program that teaches parents how to help their autistic children with insistence on sameness behaviors, like needing routines or getting upset over small changes. The program is based on an existing anxiety treatment adapted for this purpose. Researchers will enroll 30 children aged 6 to 10 and their parents to see if the approach reduces rigid behaviors and anxiety.
