Can WhatsApp help kids with disabilities master daily tasks?

NCT ID NCT06514287

Summary

This study tested whether an 8-week telehealth program using WhatsApp could help children and teenagers with physical disabilities get better at doing their chosen daily activities. Therapists worked with 21 young participants and their families to set personal goals and provide coaching through text, audio, and video messages. The main goal was to see if this remote, family-centered approach helped kids become more independent and satisfied with their performance in everyday life.
