First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested whether offering HIV PrEP (a daily pill that prevents HIV) through telehealth visits could help more Black and Latino men who have sex with men start and stay on the medication. 75 participants joined the study. The goal was to see if virtual care makes it easier to overcome barriers like travel or clinic hours, and to keep people HIV-negative while on PrEP.
