Can a video call accurately test an older Person's fall risk?
NCT ID NCT07178028
Summary
This study aims to find out if a standard balance test for fall risk can be done just as reliably over a video call as it can in person. Researchers will have 52 older adults take the same balance test twice—once face-to-face and once via video—to compare the results. The goal is to see if telehealth can be used effectively to assess balance and fall risk when an in-person visit isn't possible.
