First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested a telehealth program for 160 adults who had coronary artery bypass surgery. Participants used a phone app to track symptoms and get support, while others received standard care. The goal was to see if the program could reduce chest pain, fatigue, and other symptoms, and improve self-care and quality of life. Results showed that the telehealth group had less symptom distress and better self-care behaviors.
