Nurses test video calls to help stroke survivors recover at home
NCT ID NCT05183672
Summary
This study is testing whether follow-up care for stroke survivors can be done effectively through video calls with specialized nurses, instead of requiring in-person clinic visits. Researchers will enroll 196 adults in Hong Kong who recently had a stroke and are going home. They will compare health outcomes, quality of life, and healthcare use between people receiving standard in-person care and those receiving care via video calls.
