Video doctor visits tested to fight diabetes
NCT ID NCT05183685
Summary
This study tested whether regular video call check-ups with healthcare providers could help people with diabetes better manage their condition. It involved 780 adults in Hong Kong who had diabetes and were already seeing a doctor regularly. Researchers measured things like average blood sugar levels, cholesterol, and quality of life over nearly two years to see if the remote care model worked as well as or better than standard in-person visits.
