This study tested a telemedicine program to help adults who needed a breathing machine for acute respiratory failure. The program included support in the ICU, regular hospital ward, and after discharge. Researchers measured quality of life 90 days later in 1,916 participants. The goal was to see if this approach improves recovery and reduces problems like anxiety or rehospitalization.
