First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether extra support from a nurse via phone calls and text messages helps patients stick to their eye drop schedule and feel more satisfied after cataract surgery. About 128 adults having cataract surgery for the first time will be split into two groups: one gets the tele-nursing program, the other gets usual care. Researchers will measure medication adherence and satisfaction using standard questionnaires.
