Summary
This study tested whether giving the antibiotic teicoplanin as a shot under the skin is safe and well-tolerated in adults with bone and joint infections. Thirty patients who were already stable on IV teicoplanin received the subcutaneous version. The main goal was to check for injection-site reactions, not to measure how well the drug fought the infection.
