Clear aligners tested as alternative to braces for Kids' jaw development
NCT ID NCT07420270
Summary
This study tested whether clear, removable aligners could effectively guide jaw growth in children with a specific type of overbite (Class II malocclusion). It compared two types of these aligners against a traditional twin-block appliance over six months. Researchers measured physical changes in the jaw and teeth and asked the children about their comfort and quality of life during treatment.
