First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study explores whether a health app and online chats with a dental hygienist can motivate teenagers (ages 16-17) to improve their oral hygiene and reduce gingivitis (gum inflammation). About 25 teens with signs of gum disease will use the app and share their experiences. The goal is to learn if digital tools can help build better brushing habits.
