Summary

This study aims to understand how traumatic experiences might influence suicidal thoughts and behaviors in teenagers receiving psychiatric hospital care. Researchers will compare 120 adolescents hospitalized for suicide attempts with those hospitalized for other mental health reasons, following them for six months. The goal is to identify risk factors and biological markers to help guide better prevention and support strategies in the future.
