Summary

This study looks at how teenagers with a history of self-harm learn and use two specific coping skills in daily life. About 200 teens and a parent will practice these skills during discussions while their heart rate and sweat are measured. Some will also get brain scans. The goal is to understand what helps teens use these skills and whether they reduce self-harm urges and improve emotional control.
