Listening to teens: new study asks young trauma survivors what really helps in therapy

NCT ID NCT06138522

Summary

This study aims to better understand how psychotherapy helps teenagers with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Researchers will interview 65 teens, aged 12-18, and their parents before and after therapy to learn about their personal experiences. The goal is to identify the key factors, like the relationship with the therapist, that contribute to positive change, which could help improve future treatments for young people.
