First seen Jun 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at 124 teens with serious mental health conditions to see if community-based care (Child ACTT) leads to better well-being than treatment in a psychiatric residential facility. Teens and their families were followed over time, and their progress was measured using a standard well-being questionnaire. The goal was to find out which setting helps teens feel better and costs less.
