New teen-focused sleep therapy aims to beat insomnia

Summary

This study tests a version of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) that was adapted specifically for teenagers. About 28 teens aged 13-18 with chronic insomnia will either receive 4-6 virtual therapy sessions or be placed on a waitlist. Researchers will measure sleep improvements and how acceptable teens and parents find the treatment.
