First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether a digital support program could help people with type 2 diabetes manage their condition better. For six months, one group of participants received nurse-led education and regular reminders on their smartphones about medication, diet, and exercise. Researchers compared their blood sugar control and self-management habits to a group that received standard medical care alone.
