Robots & tablets fight frailty: new tech rehab aims to keep seniors safer at home
NCT ID NCT07292428
Summary
This study is testing a new rehabilitation program that uses technology—like clinic robots and home tablet games—to help frail older adults improve their ability to walk and think at the same time, which is crucial for preventing falls. Researchers will compare this tech-based program to standard rehab in 80 participants to see if it better improves balance, strength, and thinking skills. The goal is to develop a more accessible and effective way to help manage chronic conditions and maintain independence.
