Summary
This study enrolls 150 young women aged 13-25 in Baltimore who have pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). Some receive extra nurse home visits and text message support for 30 days to help them finish treatment and avoid unprotected sex. The goal is to see if this approach reduces repeat infections and is more cost-effective than standard care.
