First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether giving mothers online training about introducing solid foods helps their babies grow and develop better. 132 mothers and their 5-month-old babies will take part. The training covers feeding behaviors, and researchers will measure baby growth, development, and mothers' anxiety levels.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Technology-based complementary feeding education
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that online education for mothers helps babies grow and develop better during the switch to solid foods.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study that only measures short-term effects. Results may not apply to all families, and the training may not change real-world feeding habits.
