First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tested whether a special care program using continuous glucose monitors and a team of diabetes experts could help adults with type 1 diabetes better control their blood sugar after a serious complication called diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). The goal was to see if this approach would lower the number of people needing to be readmitted to the hospital. Only 2 people enrolled before the study was stopped early.
