First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested a therapy called tecar therapy to see if it could reduce pain and discomfort from cesarean section scars. The study included 19 women who had a painful scar 6-8 weeks after delivery. They received either real tecar therapy or a sham treatment, plus standard scar massage. The trial was terminated early, so results are limited.
