Could a simple tear test reveal dangerous prostate cancer?
NCT ID NCT01514669
Summary
This study is exploring whether substances found in tears and blood can help doctors distinguish between aggressive and less aggressive forms of prostate cancer. Researchers are collecting samples from 75 men who are already being evaluated for possible prostate issues. The goal is to find new, non-invasive ways to guide treatment decisions by better understanding the cancer's behavior.
