Tiny tear film changes detected by new device

This completed study tested whether a special corneal analyzer can detect small imperfections in the tear film after using eye drops or wearing contact lenses. Ten habitual contact lens wearers had their eyes measured before and after receiving Systane Complete eye drops or two types of daily disposable lenses. The goal was to see if the device could pick up changes in how light passes through the tear film, which may help understand dry eye or lens comfort.
