VA tests coaching program to help veterans manage chronic pain and safer opioid use

Summary
This study looks at whether adding Whole Health Coaching to standard pain management helps veterans with chronic pain feel better and use opioids more safely. About 432 veterans who have high-impact chronic pain and take long-term opioids will take part. The goal is to see if coaching can reduce pain-related interference and improve opioid safety over 6 months.
