Can better teamwork help rural centers spot Kids' hidden trauma?

NCT ID NCT05679154

Summary

This study tested a new way to help rural child advocacy centers identify children who need mental health support after experiencing trauma. Four centers tried a standard screening and referral process, with half also using special teamwork strategies. The main goal was to see if the teamwork approach was practical and acceptable for staff, and if it helped parents better understand their child's needs and consider starting treatment.
