Summary
This study explored whether the timing of a gentle brain stimulation technique (tDCS) could help people with PTSD better process and reduce fear memories. Researchers worked with 62 adults diagnosed with PTSD, testing stimulation during different phases of a fear-learning task. The goal was to understand how timing might influence the brain's ability to form new, safer memories to replace fearful ones.
