Summary

This study tests whether a single session of mild brain stimulation (tDCS) can improve the brain's ability to unlearn fear in people with anxiety disorders. About 140 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either real stimulation to specific brain areas or a fake (sham) version. The main goal is to see if this approach helps them better recognize when something that used to be scary is now safe.
