NCT ID NCT05673915

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This pilot study tests whether a mild electrical current applied to the scalp (tDCS) can safely reduce the number and intensity of seizures in people with epilepsy. About 30 adults whose seizures are not controlled by at least two medications will receive the stimulation and track their seizures in a diary. The goal is to see if this non-invasive approach offers a new way to ease symptoms.
