Summary

This study tested whether a gentle brain stimulation technique called tDCS could make cognitive training more effective for veterans with alcohol use disorder. Forty-five veterans participated, receiving either real or fake tDCS while doing brain exercises. The goal was to see if this combo could strengthen brain networks and reduce heavy drinking days.
