First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested a new rehab method for people with long-term spinal cord injury. 56 participants received either brain stimulation (tDCS) combined with a special motor training program, or a placebo treatment. The goal was to see if this combination could improve leg movement, sensation, and the ability to attempt movement. Results may offer a new way to boost recovery in chronic paralysis.
