First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study watches 2,500 adults with chronic diseases who receive a mix of traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine (TCIM) during hospital stays in Germany. Therapies include heat treatment, exercise, mind-body medicine, herbs, nutrition, and fasting. The goal is to see if these approaches improve quality of life and health, not to test a new drug or cure.
