Summary
This study aims to see if a medication called pregnenolone can help improve symptoms for veterans with a history of chronic traumatic brain injury (TBI). It will compare pregnenolone to a placebo pill over 8 weeks to see if it eases psychological distress, pain, PTSD symptoms, and improves thinking skills. The trial is currently suspended and was enrolling 108 eligible post-9/11 veterans.
