First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new way to deliver total body radiation before a stem cell transplant for people with severe systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). The goal is to see if using a precise radiation technique (IMRT) along with chemotherapy can reduce damage to the lungs and kidneys while still preparing the body for the transplant. About 15 participants will be enrolled to check if the approach is safe and feasible.
