Massive study tests best way to stop TB before it spreads
NCT ID NCT05285202
Summary
This five-year study in Uganda is testing two different strategies to find people with tuberculosis (TB) and connect them to treatment or preventive medicine. One approach works from health clinics, while the other targets specific high-risk neighborhoods. The goal is to see which method finds more TB cases and gets more people started on medicine to prevent them from getting sick.
