Summary
This study compares three different ways to screen for and prevent tuberculosis (TB) in prisons in Paraguay. About 4,500 inmates will be tested and followed for 18 months to see which strategy best reduces new TB cases and infections. The goal is to find a safe, effective, and affordable approach to control TB in crowded prison settings.
