First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study will test if new, easier-to-use diagnostic tests can help find more tuberculosis (TB) cases in Indonesia. About 40,000 people, including children and adults with TB symptoms, will take part. Healthcare facilities will either use the new tests or continue with standard methods, and researchers will compare how many TB cases are found in each group.
