NCT ID NCT05285202
First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests two methods for finding undiagnosed tuberculosis (TB) and linking people to treatment or preventive therapy in peri-urban Uganda. One method screens people at a health facility, while the other sends mobile teams into neighborhoods thought to have the most undiagnosed TB. Researchers will compare which approach finds more TB cases and gets more people started on preventive therapy. About 150,000 people aged 5 and older will take part.
