Summary
This study tested a new way to find people who may have been exposed to tuberculosis (TB) in Cali, Colombia. Researchers used a smartphone chatbot and an easy mouth-swab test that people could do at home. The goal was to see if this approach was practical and acceptable for tracking TB contacts. 269 people took part, and the study measured how many used the chatbot and successfully collected an oral sample.
