Summary
This study tested different follow-up methods to help New York City taxi drivers control high blood pressure and reduce cancer risks. Researchers worked with 166 male taxi drivers who had high blood pressure, providing health education, referrals, and support through technology. The goal was to find the best way to help drivers maintain healthy weight, get cancer screenings, and manage their blood pressure over time.
