Heart valve procedure study tests simpler closure method to reduce bleeding risks
NCT ID NCT06871774
Summary
This study compares two methods for closing the artery after a minimally invasive heart valve replacement procedure (TAVR). Researchers want to see if using one closure device works as well as the standard two devices at stopping bleeding and preventing complications. The trial will include 300 patients undergoing TAVR to determine which approach is safer and more effective.
