NCT ID NCT06226493

First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This early study looks at whether a non-invasive device that stimulates a nerve in the ear (taVNS) can change brain activity and certain genetic markers in people who had a stroke within the past month. About 44 participants with arm weakness will receive either real or fake stimulation. The goal is to understand how taVNS might help recovery, not to prove it works yet.
